Sick Steve Jobs?

Posted in Life, Technology on Sep 09, 2008

Okay, we at JustinSpeak aren’t ones to spread rumors and untruths, but I can’ help but say it.

Steve Jobs looks very sick.

Those who know me well know I’m a big Apple fanboi.  I think Steve Jobs is a visionary and probably the greatest Marketer since Ogilvy.  I do hope he’s okay.  We’re all rooting for you Steve. Get better.

Steve Jobs has fought cancer. However, he has overcome it once before.  I think he can do it again. If any of you out there have battled cancer, in any of its forms, or know someone who has, please do something to help.  I found a few links to places that you can donate money to if you don’t have time to lend a hand.  I’d also recommend doing any races, fund-raisers, or anything else to help fund the treatment of cancer.

  1. Simon Cancer Foundation
  2. American Cancer Society
  3. Ovarian Cancer Coalition
  4. Ashley Fister Cole Foundation
  5. Susan Komen

Again, good luck Steve.  Maybe you’re not as sick as I and other bloggers are thinking. If not, then I’m sorry. If so, then I applaud you for getting up there and doing what you love: showing your company and talents to the world.

He does. I hate, hate hate to write that…but he does. All we can do is keep our fingers crossed and good thoughts out there for him. Whatever the best care available is, he’s getting it, which is a good thing. Remember too that treatment can result in a person looking pretty bad.

Thanks for the comment JL. Yeah, you’re right on both counts. My grandmother fought (and defeated) breast cancer and it did a number on her. For those that are so inclined, pray for him. For the rest of us, follow JL’s heed and put the good energy out there.

His voice sounds strange on the quicktime feel of the latest keynote too. There is a helium quality to his voice. I hope he’s okay.
