The Best Way to Interview and Get a Job
by justin on November 16, 2010
Be yourself. Don’t be who you think the interviewer wants you to be. The last thing they want to do is hire someone who is fake. The right opportunity will be the one you can professionally present yourself for who you are and not be judged. If you don’t know the answer to a question, say so. Don’t bullshit the person across the table. It will only make you look worse. Ask good questions. Hiring managers want to see people with a brain between their ears. Also, unless you’re desperate, don’t just interview at a place because its a job. Do your research, and really see if the company is a fit. I love my job, and its because the culture is perfect and the challenge is just hard enough that it really makes me want to succeed.
