Quick Tips To Relax
I will admit that I suffer a bit from time to time with anxiety and panic. It is one of those things that I've dealt with most of my adult life. Most days I have it under control, but sometimes it gets the best of me. I'm always trying to get better. That being said, here are a few tips I've picked up over the years that REALLY help when you are feeling over stressed or anxious.
Ten Quick Tips To Calm Down
- Deep breathing
- Step aside for a minute and collect yourself
- Daily meditation, even if its only 15 minutes a day
- Exercise at least four days a week
- Don't eat crappy food.
- DO NOT scour the Internet about the symptoms and freak outs you're having. That isn't going to help anything.
- If you buy a self help book, actually read it
- Confide in your loved ones and don't be afraid to ask for help
- Remember there is nothing wrong with going to a therapist
- Stay consistent, just because you feel better, doesn't mean you should stop
I personally have a lot of trouble sticking with some of these, but the important thing is that you keep trying!
