Quick Tips To Relax

I will admit that I suffer a bit from time to time with anxiety and panic. It is one of those things that I've dealt with most of my adult life.  Most days I have it under control, but sometimes it gets the best of me. I'm always trying to get better. That being said, here are a few tips I've picked up over the years that REALLY help when you are feeling over stressed or anxious.

Ten Quick Tips To Calm Down

  1. Deep breathing
  2. Step aside for a minute and collect yourself
  3. Daily meditation, even if its only 15 minutes a day
  4. Exercise at least four days a week
  5. Don't eat crappy food.
  6. DO NOT scour the Internet about the symptoms and freak outs you're having. That isn't going to help anything.
  7. If you buy a self help book, actually read it
  8. Confide in your loved ones and don't be afraid to ask for help
  9. Remember there is nothing wrong with going to a therapist
  10. Stay consistent, just because you feel better, doesn't mean you should stop

I personally have  a lot of trouble sticking with some of these, but the important thing is that you keep trying!
