Radiohead TONIGHT!!!!!!!!!05.14.08

I’m pumped. For reals. After the show, I’ll blog the set list and give a quick review. I’ll leave you with some lyrics from Thom and the boys.

15 Step

How come I end up where I started?
How come I end up where I went wrong?
Won’t take my eyes off the ball again
You reel me out then you cut the string

How come I end up where I started?
How come I end up where I went wrong?
I won’t take my eyes off the ball again
First you reel me out and then you cut the string

You used to be all right
What happened?
Did the cat get your tongue?
Did your string come undone?

One by one
In procession
It comes to us all
It’s as soft as your pillow

You used to be all right
What happened?
Et cetera, et cetera
Fads for whatever
Fifteen steps
Then a sheer drop

How come I end up where I started?
How can I end up where I went wrong?
Won’t take my eyes off the ball again
You reel me out and you cut the string

I’ll Let Matt Bellamy Write This Post02.15.08

lips are turning blue

a kiss that can’t renew

I only dream of you

my beautiful

tiptoe to your room

a starlight in the gloom

I only dream of you

and you never knew

sing for absolution

I will be singing

falling from your grace

there’s nowhere left to hide

in no one to confide

the truth runs deep inside

and will never die

lips are turning blue

a kiss that can’t renew

I only dream of you

my beautiful

sing for absolution

I will be singing

falling from your grace

sing for absolution

I will be singing

falling from your grace

our wrongs remain unrectified

and our souls won’t be exhumed

ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ05.05.05

I have absolutely nothing to blog about right now. Sorry I’ve been a little lazy in posting every single day. Unfortunately, working all the time tends to detract from my blogging. You know what though? It beats the hell out of sitting around on my ass all day for nothing. Now, I get to sit on my ass and get paid for it.

Babble babble, blah blah blah.

Okay, Haiku time again!

Tonight I ate soup
It was yummy clam chowder
Garnished with crackers

Nothing more to blog
I have resorted to poems
My dog has entered

Motherfucking shit
This is seven syllables
Funny how that works

Last Haiku I swear
I am done with them tonight
I bid thee farewell

You Cannot Have One Without The Other04.07.05

People are so fucking brilliant.

Read Me.

Keep in mind that it was only a 127 years ago that Edison invented the light bulb.

Today’s post is a compliment to yesterday’s article. I have laid out for you, my dearest reader, the opposite ends of the spectrum of human intelligence. We are the ultimate paradox. Somehow humans manage to be incredibly brilliant and extremely moronic all at the same time. Why?

A Haiku:

My mind has been blown
And I have a hangover
The beer tasted good

dammit…

That was pretty weak
Let me try another one
I guess I am done

By the way, a haiku is fucking annoying. I don’t recommend writing one when you have a hangover at 1:30 in the afternoon.

Well, I believe in the soul, the cock, the pussy, the small of a woman’s back, the hanging curve ball, high fiber, good scotch, that the novels of Susan Sontag are self-indulgent, overrated crap. I believe Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone. I believe there ought to be a constitutional amendment outlawing Astroturf and the designated hitter. I believe in the sweet spot, soft-core pornography, opening your presents Christmas morning rather than Christmas Eve and I believe in long, slow, deep, soft, wet kisses that last three days. — Crash Davis
