Last Minute MacWorld 2009 Predictions • 01.06.09
Every other blogger under the sun is weighing in on MacWorld keynote predictions, so I figured I’d give it a shot. My dearest reader, I bring you the top ten predictions for Macworld 2009 by the editors at JustinSpeak.
Top Ten Last Minute Predictions for MacWorld 2009
- There will be no iphone nano - It makes no sense to cannibalize sales of the original iphone at this point. Give Apple another year or so and then we’ll see iphones in multiple colors and a nano line of some sort.
- Apple won’t ever do a netbook or a tablet. If anything, they’ll combine the two into some sort of large form factor iphone.
- The keynotes will still be hour long nerdgasms for the Apple faithful even though Steve Jobs isn’t doing them.
- With a couple dozen blogs and twitter feeds covering this thing, it really makes no sense to ever try to go to one of these things in person. Just get it all off the Web.
- As always, the real star of the show will be some innovative app that some enterprising software company will whip up. The hardware is cool, but its the software on the Mac that makes us all happy.
- Pompous bloggers, such as myself, will have predictions and wrap ups for it that nobody really cares to read.
- MacWorld will whet our appetites for CES.
- Apple.com will be slow as shit minutes after the keynote.
- We won’t hear anything about a Mac Pro update.
- The iWork software will get better, but it still won’t be used by anyone.
There you go homies. Tha troof.
