Last Minute MacWorld 2009 Predictions01.06.09

Every other blogger under the sun is weighing in on MacWorld keynote predictions, so I figured I’d give it a shot. My dearest reader, I bring you the top ten predictions for Macworld 2009 by the editors at JustinSpeak.

Top Ten Last Minute Predictions for MacWorld 2009

  1. There will be no iphone nano - It makes no sense to cannibalize sales of the original iphone at this point. Give Apple another year or so and then we’ll see iphones in multiple colors and a nano line of some sort.
  2. Apple won’t ever do a netbook or a tablet. If anything, they’ll combine the two into some sort of large form factor iphone.
  3. The keynotes will still be hour long nerdgasms for the Apple faithful even though Steve Jobs isn’t doing them.
  4. With a couple dozen blogs and twitter feeds covering this thing, it really makes no sense to ever try to go to one of these things in person. Just get it all off the Web.
  5. As always, the real star of the show will be some innovative app that some enterprising software company will whip up. The hardware is cool, but its the software on the Mac that makes us all happy.
  6. Pompous bloggers, such as myself, will have predictions and wrap ups for it that nobody really cares to read.
  7. MacWorld will whet our appetites for CES.
  8. Apple.com will be slow as shit minutes after the keynote.
  9. We won’t hear anything about a Mac Pro update.
  10. The iWork software will get better, but it still won’t be used by anyone.

There you go homies. Tha troof.

Sick Steve Jobs?09.09.08

Okay, we at JustinSpeak aren’t ones to spread rumors and untruths, but I can’ help but say it.

Steve Jobs looks very sick.

Those who know me well know I’m a big Apple fanboi.  I think Steve Jobs is a visionary and probably the greatest Marketer since Ogilvy.  I do hope he’s okay.  We’re all rooting for you Steve. Get better.

Steve Jobs has fought cancer. However, he has overcome it once before.  I think he can do it again. If any of you out there have battled cancer, in any of its forms, or know someone who has, please do something to help.  I found a few links to places that you can donate money to if you don’t have time to lend a hand.  I’d also recommend doing any races, fund-raisers, or anything else to help fund the treatment of cancer.

  1. Simon Cancer Foundation
  2. American Cancer Society
  3. Ovarian Cancer Coalition
  4. Ashley Fister Cole Foundation
  5. Susan Komen

Again, good luck Steve.  Maybe you’re not as sick as I and other bloggers are thinking. If not, then I’m sorry. If so, then I applaud you for getting up there and doing what you love: showing your company and talents to the world.
